Prenatal Paternity Test
PRENATAL DNA PATERNITY TEST ‐ Court admissable or Basic (Non-Court admissable)
Description:
Paternity can be determined before birth through prenatal testing, which can be done during the 10th through the 24th* week of gestation using amniocentesis or chorionic villi samples collected by an OB-GYN. The mother is required to give buccal swab samples in all prenatal tests. The alleged father must also give a buccal swab sample.
An analysis of the prenatal and mom’s DNA can be used to help pinpoint the exact “genetic markers” that came from the father. Then the DNA of the potential father is analyzed to determine the probability that his genetic markers are found in the child. This Test gives you an accurate determination (with 99.9% certainty) of who the child’s biological father is.
Note: Please call ahead to confirm that we have the prenatal kits in stock when you see us. This kit will be used to collect the prenatal samples durring your doctor exam.
Why Do I Need It?:
Reasons for a paternity test vary and we suggest that if you are thinking about getting a paternity test that you should strongly consider one that will stand up in court. You may not need it now but experience suggests that if you buy a basic test you will be back to buy a legal one later. You and the courts will find out with 99.9% certainty if the alleged father of the child is the father! – important information with considerable implications.
