Paternity (Chain of custody – admissible in court)
CHAIN OF CUSTODY DNA PATERNITY TEST ‐ *ADMISSIBLE IN COURT ![]()
Description:
This Chain of Custody DNA Paternity Test is admissible in a court of law and requires a full chain of custody, for this you will need to provide personal documentation for identification of the parties involved.
This test will determine if the alleged father is the biological father of the child.
The process is very simple and easy. It starts by taking saliva samples to obtain DNA from the child and the alleged father. A sample from the mother is NOT required, but can be useful. An analysis of the child and mom’s DNA can be used to help pinpoint the exact “genetic markers” that came from the father. Then the DNA of the potential father is analyzed to determine the probability that his genetic markers are found in the child. This is known as a percentage of probability of paternity.
Our professional medical assistant will rub a few swabs on the inside of both cheeks of the child and possible father to determine the paternity of a single child.
Pricing may change if there is more than one child to be tested or if there is more than one alleged father or if another sample with DNA on it is being tested.
Why Do I Need It?:
Reasons for a paternity test vary and we suggest that if you are thinking about getting a paternity test that you should strongly consider one that will stand up in court. You may not need it now but experience suggests that if you buy a basic test you will be back to buy a legal one later. You and the courts will find out with 99.9% certainty if the alleged father of the child is the father! – important information with considerable implications.
